Van Gogh Museum Wins Licensing International Excellence Award
In Las Vegas, the Van Gogh Museum has won a Licensing International Excellence Award in the ‘Best Product – Publishing, Social Expression, or Back to School’ category for the partnership with Moleskine.
Moleskine x Van Gogh Museum
The award-winning Van Gogh Museum x Moleskine collection notebooks offers a blank canvas from which to explore and express your own creativity. The collaboration between Moleskine and the Van Gogh Museum challenges everyone to search for your own uniqueness and shine a light on your creative verve, just like Vincent van Gogh did.
The ivory-hued pages in the Moleskine x Van Gogh Museum notebooks are a space for dormant inspiration and ideas to take seed and blossom. The covers of the notebooks zoom in on van Gogh’s brushstrokes, that are so unique to him, in a selection of his most beloved paintings: Sunflowers (1889), Irises (1890) and Almond Blossom (1890).
Marijn Veraart, Manager B2B at the Van Gogh Museum:
‘We are delighted that this award acknowledges the high quality that we strive to achieve together with our partners. Creative partnerships, such as with Moleskine enable us to continue to reach and inspire new target groups with the work and life story of Vincent van Gogh.’
Licensing International Excellence Awards
The Licensing International Excellence Awards are a global award for a global industry and the only international recognition of licensing excellence, spanning borders, and languages. The Excellence Awards finalists are selected by a judging panel of 150 industry experts from around the world.
This is the second consecutive year that the Van Gogh Museum has been awarded a Licensing International Excellence Award. In 2023, the museum won the ‘Best Brand – Art, Design, Museum’ umbrella category.
Licensing partnerships
In recent years, the Van Gogh Museum has entered into successful partnerships with renowned Dutch and international brands including Floral Street, Beddinghouse, Eastpak, Casely and Montblanc.
The collaborations are driven by shared values and help the museum to inspire new and diverse target groups with the work and life of Vincent van Gogh. All products are developed with Vincent van Gogh’s legacy in mind, and the generated income supports the activities of the Van Gogh Museum.
