‘Vincent: The Man and His Work’ Tour
Looking for a guided tour for lower secondary school students? Then book the tour ‘Vincent: The Man and His Work’.
During this interactive and in-depth tour a museum docent will discuss with the students the life and work of Vincent van Gogh in the context of the late 19th century.
The students will be guided by a museum docent. They will learn to look critically at the work of Vincent van Gogh, and place it in the context of the time in which he lived.
Visual analysis of his painting technique, style and use of colour will be covered in a range of assignments. The students will discover why Vincent’s work was so important. Besides considering his art and that of his contemporaries, we will also delve deeper into Vincent’s life.
Schools from outside of the Netherlands are required to pay online at the time of reservation. Dutch schools pay by invoice following the visit.
