Aim
In the nearly 50 years that it has been open, the Van Gogh Museum has flourished into one of the world’s most renowned museums. Assisted by a unique collection and a wealth of knowledge and stories about Vincent van Gogh and his time, the Van Gogh Museum has developed into the leading authority on Van Gogh. It conducts research of the highest level, creates trailblazing exhibitions and devises innovative educational programmes.
This growth would not have been possible without a strong and loyal network of individual supporters, corporate partners and institutional funds and foundations. The Van Gogh Museum is keen to build solid foundations to secure the future of this vital financial support, so that Vincent van Gogh’s legacy remains alive and accessible to future generations.
To this end, the Van Gogh Museum Fund was established late in 2020. The sole aim of this Fund is to support the Van Gogh Museum in the broadest sense of the word. In addition to supporting the museum’s core activities with allocated donations, a primary objective of the Fund is to create healthy reserves to safeguard the future and mission of the Van Gogh Museum.
