Floor van het Nederend was up for the challenge. He delved into the art of Vincent van Gogh and selected Wheatfield with a Reaper as his favourite work. Floor used this painting as the inspiration for his own work, combining Vincent’s style with his own and adding a dose of skate culture. The result? A life-sized mural at Skatepark NOORD measuring 30 x 4 metres.

The Van Gogh Museum is dedicated to working with local organisations and artists to find new ways of showing young Amsterdammers how Vincent van Gogh still inspires us all.
The Museum and Skatepark NOORD share a mission to be meeting places in Amsterdam for young people.
