Would Vincent van Gogh ever have dreamt that people would sleep under his paintings? The Beddinghouse x Van Gogh Museum collection makes it possible.
The collaboration between the Van Gogh Museum and Beddinghouse has resulted in a beautiful collection of duvet and cushion covers, inspired by the art of Vincent van Gogh.

The Beddinghouse design team was inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s paintings to create a special series of luxury duvet covers. The designs are based on Van Gogh’s famous and lesser-known paintings, each of which tells a story of dreams, passion and beauty. All duvet covers in this series are made from 100% cotton satin, offering comfort and an exquisite shine.
With this duvet cover, you’ll always wake up with a spring feeling. Van Gogh painted Almond Blossom (1890) to celebrate the birth of his nephew . Vincent chose the branches of the almond tree as a symbol of new life. Almond trees are amongst the earliest to bloom, they herald spring as early as February.
A guaranteed eye-catcher in your bedroom. For Vincent, Irises (1890) was mainly a study in colour. He set out to achieve a powerful colour contrast. By placing the purple flowers against a yellow background, he made the decorative forms stand out even more strongly. The red pigment has faded over time, turning the once purple flowers blue.
Drift off to sleep under one of Vincent van Gogh’s most famous artworks. Sunflowers (1889) is a lavish symphony of different shades of yellow, orange, and green. Vincent painted a series of decorative still lifes of sunflowers to impress his artist friend Paul Gauguin. And Gauguin was indeed impressed: he said that sunflowers were Vincent’s characteristic trademark.
