Van Gogh’s art is inextricably connected to the many places in Europe where he used to live. Many of the landscapes or places that inspired him can still be visited. Think of the church in Nuenen, the wheat fields in Auvers, or the psychiatric hospital in Saint-Rémy.
Thanks to Van Gogh Europe, you can follow in the footsteps of the famous artist and visit the places he has been. Over 18 locations and museums in the Netherlands, Belgium, the United Kingdom and France are affiliated with Van Gogh Europe. Together they are committed to preserve and promote Van Gogh’s legacy. Van Gogh Europe does this by setting up and supporting educational projects and tourist activities.
To introduce young people to Van Gogh, Van Gogh Europe is collaborating with international (business) training programs from all over Europe, such as: ISC Business School Paris, ESSEC Business School Cergy, Amsterdam Business School and KU Leuven.
Primary and secondary school students can learn more about Vincent van Gogh through the free digiboard lessons of ‘Van Gogh at school’. Since 2021, this online program is also available in French.
