Tuesday, 14 April sees the worldwide cinema release of the film 'Vincent van Gogh: A New Way of Seeing', providing a glimpse behind the scenes at the Van Gogh Museum.
In the film, director David Bickerstaff follows preparations for the redesign of the Van Gogh Museum. Curators from the museum, art historians and Willem van Gogh (great grandson of Theo van Gogh) share their knowledge and stories about Vincent van Gogh.
International top exhibitions in the cinema
Vincent van Gogh: A New Way of Seeing is one of the films being screened by Pathé Art, which is bringing collections from famous museums and international top exhibitions to the cinemas. Over the past few months, cinemas have been showing films about the Hermitage, the Vatican museums and exhibitions of works by Vermeer, Matisse, Manet and Munch. Besides Van Gogh, in the coming months the programme will feature exhibitions about Rembrandt and the Impressionists.

Vincent van Gogh: A New Way of Seeing will be shown in cinemas worldwide from 14 April.
