The Van Gogh Museum presents An Ode to Printmaking – The Unique Album ‘L’Estampe originale’ from 30 January to 17 May 2026. This exhibition showcases innovative fin-de-siècle prints. Many of these prints are rarely exhibited due to their fragility.

Closure Van Gogh Museum on 12 October Due to Demonstration ‘Nederland in Opstand’
This Sunday, 12 October 2025, the ‘Nederland in Opstand’ demonstration will take place in Amsterdam. The protest, directed in part against immigration, will begin at 1 pm at Museum Square. A march is planned from 2:30 to 4 pm, ending again at Museum Square.

Closure of the Van Gogh Museum Due to Red Line Demonstration – 5 October
This Sunday, 5 October 2025, the ‘Rode Lijn’ / Red Line demonstration will take place in Amsterdam, following two earlier demonstrations in The Hague. The Red Line demonstrations are intended to call on the Dutch government to take concrete action against the genocide in Gaza. Participants, dressed in red, will walk through the city to form a symbolic ‘red line.’ The route begins at Museum Square at 1 PM.
